Cassano criticises Allegri, Mourinho, and Leao as “finished.”

After three years of “slapdash football” at Juventus, Antonio Cassano blasted Max Allegri, criticised Rafael Leao, and declared Jose Mourinho “completely finished.”

Before a falling out with the former striker, the former star of Roma, Real Madrid, Inter, Milan, and Italy had established herself as a regular commentator on Christian Vieri’s podcast.

After witnessing Juventus battle to a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina, he broke his quiet on Sunday night as a guest on the RAI programme La Domenica Sportiva. He did not hold back in his comments.

“Inter is much, much stronger this season, but it’s time Allegri stepped aside because he is a coach who says his career is based on results and he hasn’t won anything in three years,” Cassano stated.

“Last season, he ought to have done it already. Juventus has 17 international players and has spent €160 million on transfers, yet its players are sloppy passers who struggle to connect passes.

Even though the Bianconeri were the home team and won 1-0, they only possessed 25% of the ball against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Allegri maintains that, despite spending months in the Scudetto chase, their sole goal was Champions League qualification.

His claim that Juventus should place fourth is absurd. Just see Bologna; they spend approximately €1.50 and play fantastic football,” Cassano continued.

With Krunic, Bennacer, Calabria, and Kalulu, Milan won the Scudetto, but Juventus had a more potent team that year. Napoli went 20 points clear after giving up three first-choice players and signing Kvaratskhelia and Anguissa.

FantAntonio suggests that since Milan put a lot of pressure on Stefano Pioli to be sacked a few months ago, the clubs have not received equal media coverage.

“Pioli has consistently faced criticism in the media due to his lack of friendship with journalists, even though Allegri is obviously loved by someone.”

“We’re going to be among the worst leagues in Europe if we don’t change our mindset.”

Cassano strongly supports Daniele De Rossi’s transformation of Roma after Mourinho was ousted in mid-January.

Now, Mourinho’s career as a coach is over. He is still doing the same things he did ten years ago, and he is no longer capable of instructing.

“He thought Bove was better than Pellegrini and wouldn’t play Paredes.” Roma now feels like a formidable squad thanks to De Rossi, who is performing above and beyond expectations. This was always meant to be for him.

Rafael Leao, a Milan star who has been linked to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, did not impress Cassano.

“Leao believes he is a genius, and some people even concur.” I still think he’s a good player; I haven’t changed my opinion.

In a subpar league like Serie A, he failed to score goals for five and a half months. He would have had difficulty making the sixth or seventh squad in Serie A a few years ago.

“Lautaro Martinez is now a world-class player. Look at him.” He battles all over the pitch, fights for the ball, scores goals, and assists. In every regard, he is a leader.”
